Photo Editing

I recently modified a wedding photo in Adboe Lightroom converting the photo to black & white as well as some exposure, contrast, saturation and brightness edits then edited the photo again in Photoshop to retain color in the flower bouquet.

This is a pretty subtle, basic sample of my skills but I thought I'd share it to illustrate the beauty in simplicity. Give me a call if you have photos you need to edit whether it's separating people or objects from backgrounds or color, sepia, black & white  modifications.

YPNG T-Shirts

The Colors of YPNG!  YPNG asked slographicarts to create a one-color version of the logo for t-shirt production. Instead of printing the multi-colored logo on shirts it was more cost-effective to print one ink color and choose a variety of colored shirts. Shirts are primarily used by the softball teams but sometimes can be seen on Young Professionals when they volunteer for community events. If anyone is interested in purchasing their very own YPNG colored shirt, send an email to Bryan or YPNG Membership.

New Logo for Non-Profit

Working from a simple sketch, I adapted the client's concept into a vector logo capable of enlarging and use on multiple mediums. The primary objective was to create a logo for stationary that would easily translate when faxing. I also provided a Word template using the logo as a header.

Identity and Style

I recently completed a graphic identity package for a local Dental practice. The package included custom logo design, business cards, letterhead and envelopes. Does your business communicate effectively?

Graphic identity and Style are the ways in which we communicate to the public. Graphic Identity involves the images we show the public through logos, typefaces, colors, stationery, and more. Graphics are a visual vehicle that breeds familiarity with an organization.
Style is the way we speak to the public through written words. Like graphic identity, words conjure images and by using correct terminology and good grammar—the components of style—we can project a positive image of our business to the public.

Fonts

Fonts are critical to successful design and branding. They should be a major consideration for companies looking to identify and differentiate themselves from the competition. If you are looking to retool your company identity, start with a font search. I recommend browsing dafont.com, well I recommend contacting slographicarts first but if you want to get a head start, try dafont.com.
